What is the Reading Lab?

The College of the Siskiyous Reading Lab is a place where students can receive individualized assistance to meet a variety of reading needs.

It is professionally staffed with an instructor, an instructional aid, tutors, and assistants to provide students with individualized and personalized instruction.

Students may work on vocabulary development, word pronunciation and recognition, comprehension strategies, and reading rate.

At the Reading Lab, students have access to books and other reading materials, multimedia equipment, computers and specialized software, and individualized learning programs.

Students using theReading Lab need to be enrolled in EDUC 0670 (0 units) to access the Reading Lab.
