Flower: Tiny white to pale pink

Blooms: April to July

Leaves: Fleshy green umbrella-like leaves

Height: 4 to12 inches

Found: Moist places

Tidbits: Eaten by miners for its source of vitamin C to prevent scurvy during the gold rush. Native Americans brewed tea from dried plants for a laxative.
