Flower: Light to bright pink; sepals partially fused, calyx one-half length of corolla; petals forming a flat disk around the corolla opening, tube 0.5 to 0.75 inch

Blooms: April to June

Leaves: Opposite, lanceolate, 0.5 to 2.0 inches

Height: 9 to 18 inches

Found: Rocky grasslands, brush or woody slopes
