Flower: White rose-like flower with yellow stamens and pistils

Blooms: March to August

Leaves: Compound with 3 coarsely serrate leaflets

Height: 3 to 6 inches

Stem: Hairy

Found: Widely distributed in open woods, meadows

Tidbits: Delicious bright red fruit (if one gets there before the wildlife)
