Greetings Friends of the Performing Arts,
I would like to introduce myself to the community as I am getting underway here at College of the Siskiyous. My name is Tom Murdock and I am excited to announce my new position serving as the Director of the Theatre Department. Most recently I come to the area from Kansas City where I had been teaching and directing for the past five years. Prior to Kansas City I was living and working in Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago doing theatre, television, and film as well as teaching. I look forward to meeting you and seeing you at our performances.
One of my first goals at COS is to start a membership fund for the Theatre Arts Program with the generosity of the college and community. With that in mind we would like to give you the opportunity to become a patron. Make a donation of $50 or more and in return receive two complimentary tickets for each of our main stage performances; as well as an exclusive opening night reception. Your donations would greatly impact the students in many ways: make-up, scripts, odds and ends, as well as show essentials that the majority of our students don’t have the means to supply for themselves. Remember, your donation is tax deductible and gives you a chance to begin the season of giving.
We have a very exciting and diverse season planned and look forward to seeing you all there. Also take a look at our flyer for a new travel studies course we are offering to New York City. Join us to see Broadway shows; space is limited so sign up quickly.

Dancing at Lughnasa Oct. 26th, 27th, Nov. 2nd, 3rd, at 8pm and Nov. 4th at 2pm
A drama centering on a poor Irish family in the 1930’s, Lughnasa focuses on five sisters trying to cling to their roots while in the midst of the ever changing world around them.
E.R. (Emergency Room) Feb. 1st,2nd,8th,9th at 8pm and Feb. 10th at 2pm
A comedy-drama set in the chaos of a Chicago emergency room.
SPITFIRE GRILL April 18th,19th,25th, 26th at 8pm and April 27th at 2pm
