Siskiyou Domestic Violence & Crisis Center

They are a private, nonprofit agency offering confidential services to all victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness. Among other services they provide a 24-7 toll-free crisis hotline (877) 842-4068; crisis intervention; individual peer counseling; group counseling by a licensed therapist; temporary restraining order assistance; advocacy; accompaniment to court, law enforcement, medical facilities, and social services; and referrals to other appropriate agencies as well as a safe-house for battered women and their children. Women to Women Art Group

"A diverse group of artists, whose primary goals are providing inspiration, support, training and the opportunity to exhibit for all its members. Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

WIC is a temporary assistance program for pregnant and breast-feeding women, infants and children up to five years of age, who have special nutritional needs. WIC provides nutrition education to help improve eating habits, and dispenses supplemental food vouchers to buy specific foods important for good health. Childhood immunizations are also available at most WIC clinics, in addition to breastfeeding education and support. WIC clinics are held monthly throughout Siskiyou County.
