We are happy to offer online tutoring for all of College of the Siskiyous students via NetTutor. If your students need tutoring outside of the scheduled hours for ASC tutors, online math tutoring is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Questions and writing assignments may be submitted 24 hours a day, every day of the week and all questions and writing submissions to NetTutor will maintain a 48-hour turnaround time. All other subjects will follow the NetTutor subject hours for the semester, which can be found by following the NetTutor link in Canvas. You may also consider offering incentives to students who show that they know how to use NetTutor if needed.
We are able to send you, upon your request, a report of your students that use the system, date, times, subjects etc.
NetTutor differs from our online ASC tutoring in that you cannot choose which tutor you visit in NetTutor. With ASC tutors, students can choose a tutor and develop an ongoing, supportive relationship with that person. NetTutor, however, may be available during times when our ASC tutors are not scheduled.
Students who use NetTutor must be enrolled in and attending COS classes that lead to transfer, graduation and/or a certificate. They will be allowed up to five hours of NetTutor time per subject per semester. Extension of time will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As you’re working on homework or writing papers, we encourage you to take full advantage of online tutoring via NetTutor. NetTutor tutors are available for live sessions, to answer submitted questions, and to review papers 24 hours a day, any day of the week. All questions and writing submissions to NetTutor will be returned with your tutor’s comments within 48 hours. As a currently enrolled student at College of the Siskiyous, you can connect with a tutor immediately. All NetTutor tutors are highly qualified professional tutors, available anytime day or night!
