Continuing Education is a sweeping term that applies to post-secondary education other than university study. It is very similar to the term Lifelong Learning, knowledge happens throughout your lifetime and in many places other than an educational institution. You are constantly learning through your daily experiences. Learning is never-ending and can help you achieve personal fulfillment. Lifelong learning is a deliberate act and occurs throughout your life. No matter what you call it, College of the Siskiyous (COS) offers many ways to increase your knowledge.
COS offers a wide variety of classes from learning a new career skill to pursuing a lifelong educational goal. We offer some classes that, while open to anyone, are designed specifically for Older Adults. We have computer classes, business, theatre, dance, entrepreneurship, and many others. Please look at the class schedule for our current or upcoming offerings.
Continuing Education classes are offered based upon community interest. If there is a specific course you would like us to offer or if you have a class you would like to teach, reach out to the Office of Academic Affairs at (530) 938-5201 or instruction@siskiyous.edu.
