The Foster Youth Success Program provides support and services to current and former foster youth attending College of the Siskiyous. Our goal is to provide student support services to help students in achieving their academic goals and dreams. We are here to listen, provide information and resources, and a positive environment for youth to connect to.

There is no single standard definition of a "foster youth," but rather a number of eligibility criteria for various financial and support programs designated for foster youth.
Foster Youth Success Program (FYSP) accepts applications on an ongoing basis.

If you are or were in foster care and have financial need, you may qualify for up to $5,000 a year for career and technical training or college. You don't have to pay this money back. You may also be able to use your grant to help pay for child care, transportation and rent while you’re in school. You can use your Chafee Grant at any eligible California college, university, career, or technical school as well as schools in other states.
