COS Announces Auditions for Spring Muscial - Ride the Cyclone

Weed / COS – The College of the Siskiyous Performing Arts Department excited to announce auditions for the 2026 spring production of "Ride the Cyclone" will be held Wednesday, February 4 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Weed Campus.

This spring production has opportunities for many exciting acting, singing, and dancing roles as well as many backstage jobs. If you are interested in auditioning, sign up ahead of time for an audition slot. The signup sheet is located at the Weed Campus in the Distance Learning Center (DLC – Building 10) on the callboard.

All auditioning will be asked to read ‘audition sides’ (various selected scenes from the script with various pairings of characters as the director prepares to make casting choices. Auditioners will also need to bring a prepared 1-minute monologue and will learn a song from the show to evaluate vocal range.

The Performing Arts Department encourages anyone who is interested in auditioning, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or experience level. For more information, send an email to theatre@siskiyous.edu.
