Library Databases

Please note: Off-Campus access is only available to those with a College of the Siskiyous library card. For off-campus access, click the Off-campus link next to the database you will be searching. You will be asked for your library barcode number and account password. Your library barcode number is the 14-digit number found on the back of your library card; enter the whole number with no spaces.

If you have not used the online databases before, you will need to create a password for your account.
No Library card or password are required to use the databases if you are on the Weed or Yreka campuses.

New Trial The Library has a trial subscription for a new site on opposing view points. This ProQuest site called SIRS Issues Researcher. It is a highly-acclaimed student reference database containing thousands of full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health, historic, business, economic, political and global issues from 1,500 domestic and international publications. Included is SIRS Knowledge Source which is a comprehensive database portal that is comprised of several distinct reference databases including SIRS Researcher, SIRS Government Reporter, SIRS Renaissance, and SIRS WebSelect. If you are a current student and do not have a Library card, please stop by the Library or request a card online. Keep in mind that it will take 1-2 business days to process online Library card requests. Please contact the Library in person, by phone (530) 938-5331 or online if you are having any problems creating a password or logging into the databases.
