Persistence Pays Off: Full Police Academy Approved at COS
Students no longer need to travel long distances to become law enforcement officers because College of the Siskiyous was approved earlier this spring by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) to offer a complete police academy.

Folk singing professor, David Nigel Lloyd, will make one of his rare local appearances when he hosts and performs at the singer song/writer showcase at the Far North Music Summer Music Festival, June 23rd.

The COS Summer Musical Theatre Intensive (THEA 1301 / #5036) presents "Inception," a showcase of well‐known and dynamic excerpts from popular Broadway musicals.

Summer Hours
The COS Weed and Yreka Campuses will be open Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (or as posted for office/area) through July 27, 2018. Both campuses are closed to the public on Fridays.

Registration for 2018/2019 Classes is Open
The schedule of classes for 2018/2019 summer session, fall semester, winter intersession, and spring semester classes is now available for viewing online.

Registration is Open for Youth Summer Camps at COS
A variety of summer camps will be held at the Weed Campus this summer. Registration for Show Choir & Jazz Camp, Musical Theatre Intensive, and Basketball Camp is open.

COS Campuses to Close for Fourth of July Holiday
College of the Siskiyous Weed and Yreka Campuses will be closed Wednesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.

COS Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting
The next College of the Siskiyous Board of Trustees meeting will be held Tuesday, July 10, at the Weed Campus in the Board Room. Closed session will begin at 5:00 pm and open public session will begin at 6:00 pm.
