College of the Siskiyous Announces Temporary Office and Classroom Relocations Due to Construction Projects

Weed / COS – College of the Siskiyous is informing students, employees, and the community of upcoming office and classroom location changes related to the start of major construction projects on the Weed campus.

Beginning in the spring 2026 semester, construction will commence on a new student housing complex, along with renovations to the Performing Arts/Theater Building and McCloud Hall. These projects are part of the college’s long-term commitment to improving campus facilities and enhancing student experience. Construction activities are expected to continue for approximately two years.

As a result, several offices and classrooms will be temporarily relocated to ensure safety and minimize disruptions to instruction and services. Affected departments and programs will share specific relocation details directly with students and staff. Updated maps, signage, and wayfinding assistance will be provided on campus.

The college appreciates the patience and cooperation of the campus community during this exciting period of growth and improvement. Additional updates will be shared as construction progresses.
