New to COS and not sure how to log into your mySiskiyous student portal? Experiencing issues accessing Canvas or logging into your Siskiyous email? The Student Help Desk is here to help you get connected and on track to success.

Contact the Student Help Desk by phone, email, Zoom, or drop by the Academic Success Center for in person assistance.

• Call the Student Help Desk (530) 938-5523
  • After hours, leave a brief message with the following information to help identify your record:
    • Your name
    • Phone number
    • Siskiyous student ID
    • Date of birth
• Send email to the Student Help Desk at studenthelpdesk@siskiyous.edu
  • A concise subject heading helps to identify your support request.
  • Be sure to include the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Date of birth
    • Last four digits of your social security number (or full student ID if you prefer).
  • Please keep your email brief and descriptive. Error messages and screen snips are very helpful.
• Join the Student Help Desk through Zoom for a live video session with file and desktop sharing.
  • Join through Zoom in a browser window or Zoom client software.
  • A microphone, and speakers or headphones are all that’s needed. You may join with a video camera at your preference.
• Drop by the Student Help Desk in the Academic Success Centers on the Weed and Yreka campuses during the available days and times listed below.
  • Located on the Weed campus in the Learning Resource Building adjacent to the Library and Base Camp.
  • Located on the Yreka campus in the Rural Health Science Building, room 124.
