The Ronny J. Coleman, California Accredited Academy of Excellence will be awarded annually to an Accredited Regional Training Program (ARTP) or Accredited Local Academy (ALA). State Fire Training seeks to honor an academy that constructively influences its students through leadership while establishing and promoting best practices. They will be recognized for developing supportive training and education processes or programs that improve the caliber and quality of the California fire service. This academy will be acknowledged for its ability to collaborate successfully within the vocational education community. These outcomes produce fire service members who step up and consistently demonstrate competence, grit, humility, presence, resilience, self-mastery, self-regulation, trust, vigilance, and wellness.

At the College of the Siskiyous, our athletic programs are defined by more than just the final score, they are defined by a legacy of Peak Performance. As a proud member of the Golden Valley Conference, Siskiyous Athletics has built a reputation for developing elite competitors and disciplined scholars. With recent milestones including state tournament appearances for Women's Basketball and a robust history of conference championships in Football, our Eagles consistently soar. Beyond the field, our commitment to 'The Scholar Athlete' is unmatched, with nearly 200 students annually earning academic honors. At Siskiyous, we don't just build champions; we build the leaders of tomorrow.

The College of the Siskiyous (COS) Annual Staff Recognition and Retirement event serves as a vital component of the District's strategy to foster a supportive and inclusive campus culture. This event is a cornerstone of the District's commitment to providing ongoing support, professional development, and leadership opportunities for its employees.

Our Annual Fall Superintendent/President's Reception serves as a gathering to celebrate our collective mission and formally welcome the newest members of the Eagle family. As part of our district-wide commitment to fostering a community that is 'inclusive, responsive, and supportive of all its members equitably,' this reception provides a vital space for new faculty and staff to build connections across all employee classes from administration to classified professionals.
